Beyond 2000 Launches New Website
New Concepts in Acute Coronary Syndromes: Beyond 2000, now in its 17th year, is a highly regarded symposium held annually in conjunction with the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress. The symposium features national and international thought leaders distinguished not only by their cutting edge contributions to knowledge but also by their remarkable ability to communicate them. The event addresses the most relevant and compelling issues in contemporary acute cardiovascular medicine. Commencing this year, we are pleased to announce a new initiative to facilitate continued leanings from this rich legacy that will provide even more knowledge translation. The Beyond 2000 website (www.beyond2000.org) now contains slide presentations from the sessions held on October 23, 2011, as well as selected video conversations with the Beyond 2000 XVII faculty about key topics in cardiovascular medicine. We invite you peruse the website and offer us your feedback as we begin planning the next such educational event in 2012.
